For outdoor settings, the generator set must have at least a drip proof casing, and sand proof and noise proof casings can also be selected according to usage requirements
The following precautions should be taken when setting up outdoor settings
(a) When setting up two or more generator sets in the same location, the end faces of the radiators should be arranged side by side, and the distance between the radiator and the building and the units should be maintained at least 1.5m (refer to Figure 1). In roofed situations, it should be considered to install an engine exhaust extension pipe to prevent exhaust from being sucked into the exhaust extension pipe by the radiator fan (refer to Figure 2)
(b) In areas with strong winds, the wind opposite the radiator can cause the engine to overheat. Therefore, a wind deflector should be installed in front of the radiator (refer to Figure 3)
(c) In rainy areas, even if there is a cover, it cannot block rainwater, and a rain shelter frame should be used
